In the background of New Curriculum Reform and Quality Education, wide-ranging changes are carried out in school education. Traditional teacher-centered class has been changed into student-centered class; it is called student-oriented education or ecological education, or generation education. The aim of my thesis is to obtain the main problems in teacher-student relationship in senior high school by literature survey, questionnaire survey and analysis of results in E senior high school of Y city. The main troubles are: the role of teacher and student is not clear, teacher status and role is weakened, teacher-student relationship between alienation and trend of utilitarianism, and sometimes there is conflict, and there are misunderstandings in teacher-student relationship. The countermeasures reach by analyzing reason of these problems. I propose four levels, as social level, school level, teacher level and student level. They are the just countermeasures of building democratic and harmonious teacher-student relationship. At social level, we need harmonious society and family, and perfection of educational legal system. At school level, we ought to build harmonious cultural atmosphere and ordered moral atmosphere. At teacher level, we ought to establish authority and correct view of student, to establish humanities education view, to change role of ourselves, to develop student’s ability of self-management, to strengthen teacher-student cooperation and exchanges, to promote self-accomplishment and improve personality. At student level, they ought to change self-cognition, to improve self-improvement, and to trust and support teacher are the most important. |
