As a major part of the third generation of remote education, online learning has experienced several forms of the change as its development. Digital learning, e-learning, mobile learning, and micro-courses essentially extend the online learning in terms of format. Online education shares the same nature of target of the remote education, and is an effective complement for the conventional education. Its existence and development play a very important role in order to improve the fairness of education, and increase the opportunities of being educated. Adult learners have been a main part of remote education, and currently a significant proportion of the overall adult online learners are primary school teachers. Therefore, it is critical to focus on the learning status of primary school teachers, analyze the factors of impacting the online learning especially for primary school teachers.I have been involved in the project “Ability Enhancement of Teacher’s information Technology”, which is organized by Networking School of Zhejiang Normal University in order to help all primary school teachers in Zhejiang Province. This project is to improve the knowledge of information technology for all primary school teachers in Zhejiang Province. In previous research, only adult learner was studied as the research objective, and those research only focus on one aspect of impact factors, such as learning attitude, media, and other individual factors. The contribution of this research is based on primary school teachers particularly as objective, and establish a more comprehensive impact factor evaluation system in order to obtain the factors that significantly impact the online learning of primary school teachers, such that the ability and progress of online learning can be improved for primary school teachers.Based on literature survey, this research first investigates the factors that impact online learning of primary school teachers in form of questionnaire, and establishes a potential impact factor model, then uses the platform provided by the project “Ability Enhancement of Teacher’s information Technology” to collect the learning data of the teachers, such as participation, number of online posts, and performance etc. As the result, the correlation between impact factors and final grades is determined, such that the specific recommendations can be made. This research is organized as follows. Chapter 1 is the introduction, which introduces the background, current status, and the creative ideas of this research. Chapter 2 introduces the theoretical fundamentals and related concepts. Chapter 3 describes the questionnaire we use including categories of dimensions and components, and descriptions of each component. Chapter 4 presents the correlation between each factor and final grade based on the data analysis. Finally, Chapter 5 concludes this research work including investigation of the results and suggestions for impact factors.
