| Because of the rapid speed of spread, strong interactivity, instant releasing, and large amounts of information, Internet has been an important media tool for sports communication, especially when Internet combines with handset new media technology, its function of sports communication is playing to the most. College students, as the main force of using the Internet are affected quietly by the Internet. Their sports consciousness such as cognitive, interests, attitude as well as their sports behavior such as the way of exercise, sports consumption and information gaining.In this paper, non-sport major’s full-time students of Shi Jiazhuang in HeBei Province as the respondents, the author applies mainly the ways of literature, interviews, questionnaires, mathematical statistics and logical reasoning based on the previous research results of Communication Sciences and School Physical Education to study the influence of Internet information related to sports on college students’ sports consciousness, behavior and so on, to understand the state quo of time, frequency, motivation, type, place, tools of college students access to sports information on the Internet. It reveals the Internet effect on college students’ sports consciousness such as sports cognition, emotion, will, interests, attitude and their sports’ behavior such as the way of exercise/ sports consumption and selforganization, self-advocating, and self-management of sports as well as sports watching and information gaining and analyzes the bad effects of Internet on college students’ sports consciousness and behavior and put forward some suggestions concerned. The research has indicates:1. Surfing the Internet is the main activity in spare time for 80 percent students. For college stud nets, the frequency of Internet use is high and more time is spend on surfing. The main places are in the dormitories and classrooms, and mobile phones and laptop computers are the dominant tools. Entertainment for relax, gaining information and acquiring knowledge are their main motivations which can be influenced by college students’ gender, major, grade. Entertainment, news, professional knowledge are the main types.2. Sport information on the Internet has an positive effect on sport cognition, sport emotion, and sport will of college students. College students access to sport information on the Internet correlates significantly with their interest, emotion, value of sport.3. Students’ access to sport information on the Internet can motive them to do physical exercise. Time, frequency, intensity, project, way of sport can be greatly affected. And college students’ consumption and structure also can be influenced by sport information on the Internet which also have an good effect on gaining sport information and watching sports event on the Internet.moreover, the time and frequency are positively associated with self-organization, self-advocating and self-management.4. Sport information on the Internet is also result in negative effects. For example, some reports about sport violence, ‘referees’, athletes’ addiction to drugs, taking stimulants, sexual harassment as well as speculation of sports stars can terribly influence students’ morality and value of sports. Students’ indulging themselves in playing sport games will reduce the time to do more exercise in daily life. Those negative effects can be solved through strengthening the management of the network diffusion and improving the morality and skills of network communication workers, as well as making good use of Principles of Marxist Philosophy to teach students. |
