Observations From The High School Biology Experiment Study The Student’s Adility Of Scientific Inquiry

With the development of the new curriculum, scientific inquiry ability has attracted more and more attention in the classroom, which emphasizes the students like scientists to think, engaged in various research activities. In the senior high school biology experiment class, focus on the students’experimental ability is the teaching object of attention, it can affect the students’scientific inquiry ability to a certain extent. Therefore, this study was to investigate the correlation of Hangzhou City, a high school students biology experiment ability and scientific research ability by questionnaire, understanding students’ experimental and theoretical knowledge, with a view to future teaching to put forward better suggestions.The study found:in biological experiment test three points to the degree, the students’ experimental analysis ability to score was the lowest, and the experimental and operational ability of college students was relatively better performance, but the experimental observation ability was lacking. It could be shown that in the course of experiment teaching, students’ ability of scientific thinking was short of enough training, and the analysis and discussion of the change of the life phenomenon and the experimental results were not enough. Secondly, it was found that the overall level of knowledge was good. However, the experimental design ability of the students was weak. Third, students in the experimental operation of the standard and the choice of experimental materials in these two areas had done relatively well, and the rest of the research indicators were at a general level. And for scientific inquiry ability of the survey results showed that:the research objected in the four points to the degree of existence certain difference, the analysis and discussion of the most weak, and students to form ability was relatively good, the other two in the middle level, this with the current should try and ignore to enhance the scientific literacy of teaching methods had great relevance. Finally, the correlation analysis between the biological experimental ability and the students’ scientific inquiry ability also showed that there was a significant positive correlation between them. That was to say in a certain extent, improve students’ experimental ability could promote the development of the scientific inquiry ability.In view of the above research results, this paper in the classroom teaching activities suggested:in actual classroom teaching, teachers should fully understand biology textbooks compiling intention, accurately grasp the curriculum requirements, strengthen research of experimental teaching, to cultivate students’ ability of scientific inquiry; In the preparation of teaching materials are proposed:suggestions on Preparation of the biological materials, based on science inquiry ability of the elements and experimental skills, according to the new curriculum standards will be all part of the breakdown of the target to the materials, also want to closely combined with characteristics of biological subject knowledge, help students to experience the process of scientific research, in this process improve students ability of biological experiments and scientific research ability. To put forward some suggestions for teachers:teachers should strive to improve their scientific literacy and professional accomplishment, in the daily teaching to have the consciousness of scientific inquiry ability, will train students’ experimental ability and scientific research ability and integrate into students genuinely.
