Pushed forward by the tide of new-curriculum reform, related theory and practice of pedagogical reform of history course, which is regarded as an important part of basic education and compulsory subject, has gained great concern among experts, scholars and teachers. Studies concerned about history teaching design develop towards teaching areas in depth.History teaching design, an important part of history teaching, is a system project for teachers to implement a series of activities such as analysis of teaching objects, determination of the teaching goal, processing of the teaching content as well as teaching assessment. For most history teachers in middle schools, how to design efficient teaching design and motivate students’ interest has becomes an important issue for them to deal with.Scientific and efficient instructional design are learning-centered and learners-focused, which is in accordance with people-oriented concepts advocated by educational reform. Meanwhile under the background of new curriculum, innovative history instructional design seems to be a necessary choice for history teachers to implement the concept of new curriculum and improve teaching quality. Therefore, this study, based on the grasp of history curriculum standard, intends to take “TaipingRebellion Movement” from Peoples’ Publishing House for high school for an example, integrating pedagogy, psychology, history and many other multi-subject theory, apply various teaching methods, analyze concrete instructional case through integrating teaching resources to realize the implement of innovative history classroom teaching design as well as giving implications for future study.This study consists of four parts.The first part presents the introduction, involving the reasons,purpose, current situation and innovation of this study.The second part takes “Taiping Rebellion Movement” for example,exploring the necessity of updating teaching concepts and guiding ideology when teachers design innovation instructional teaching.The third part involves the procedure analysis of history classroom teaching design, mainly from perspectives of teaching goals, teaching contents, teaching strategy and teaching assessment.The fourth part presents the researchers’ thinking towards innovation history classroom teaching design. Based on former scholars’ study and taking “Taiping Rebellion” for example, the researchers express her insight and though during this project.
