With the development of new curriculum reform, improving the quality of teaching,helping students learn how to study,and building efficient lesson has got more attention from the educators. For the purpose of teaching and cultivating students’ ability of self-learning.This is a new teaching mode where the learning cases serve as the carrier,while students’ self-study and teachers’ guidance work as the teaching methodology. Under this new mode, teachers and students should work together to complete the teaching mission.It changes the passive way of learning,and reflects fully the leading role of teachers and the dominant role of students, making both side of them in harmony and maximizing the benefits of this mode.The students did not form good habits of previewing in the process of Learning-Plan-Teaching model,and the vast majority of the guidance case before the students’ learning lesson parts are completed in the form of reading materials,lacking a clear study method. Therefore, it is critical for the educators to find out how to use the case before class to guide students to the effective autonomous learning and improve the class efficiency and students’ self-learning ability in the Learning-Plan-Teaching model.This research aims to study the guidance before class segment in the Learning-Plan-Teaching model, in order to design the learning activities before class through diversified class leading learning module, so that the students’ autonomous learning will be no longer constrained to a single form of readings, and it will also stimulate students’ interest in learning biology, forming a good habit of autonomous learning, and improving the efficiency of classroom teaching.On the basis of studying the relevant literature, this paper attempts to design different forms of activities before class to construct modules of leaning guide and applied to teaching practice. The main contents are listed as follows:First of all, putting insight into the high school biology class preview the status quo and problems in the process of preparation, and taking analysis on the theoretical basis and feasibility of this research through a combined use of literature research and questionnaire survey. Based onpromoting the all-round development of students, and the teaching philosophy of improving students’ ability, according to the problems arising from the questionnaire survey as well as the students’ learning situation, six kinds of activities before class has been designed as follows: reading material type, test experience type, investigation type,micro-video type, data collection and model construction type, which has formed its own module respectively.This part also take analysis on the principles, process, requirements and cautions of the guidance before class design.Secondly, Using the action research method, applying various kinds of guidance cases into the biology teaching, and then expounds the learning module before class in implementation process and implementation requirements for teachers and students. According to the students’ learning situation and preview effect feedback, the implementation process of the leading learning module to carry on the teaching reflection, timely find class leading learning modules’ shortage,and then perfect it and lay the foundation for further study.Finally, Using diverse evaluation method and combining with student interviews to evaluate the class leading module’s effect of learning. By means of data processing and analysis, found that formulated by various forms of learning activities before class learning module have a positive impact on student’s academic performance and learning ability.This results show that the design and implementation of the modules guided before class by various forms of learning activities have a great significance in biology classroom teaching. It can improve the students’ interest in learning biology and arouse their enthusiasm of learning. It can also change the student’s study methods, improve the ability of autonomous learning; It can Implement the preview segment, and improve the classroom efficiency.
