School-home cooperation is an indispensable part in students’ growth process which also is a part that parents and teachers have to face. In special education, school-home cooperation is more indispensable. So, it is parents’ and teachers’ goal to do school-home cooperation well. But now, school-home cooperation is so imperfect that many questions need to solve. This study’s principal aim is to find why school-home cooperation has so many questions and gives some methods to these issues with some cases research.During the study,the author went deeply into a mentally retarded school of Chengdu and did a research with some special students.Author took communications with teachers and leaders using free time to know teachers and leaders’ opinions about school-home cooperation.At the same time,author made home visits in the weekend to observe students in their home and took communications with parents in their home.Analyzed all the information,author fund that there were four aspects of problem about school-home cooperation:cooperation sense had deviation,cooperation contents were difference,cooperation methods were old,cooperation effect was not perfect.The reasons of the four problem were:the accomplishment,attitude and effort of teachers and parents did not meet the school-home cooperation,the cooperation channels and input were not enough.In conclusion,author gives four countermeasures.Fist,school improves management ability.Second,teachers improve their professional.Third,parents change their attitude.Forth,build school-home agency to deepen school-home cooperation from every aspect.
