In secondary vocational schools, the students have poor foundation and lack enthusiasm for learning. They emphasize the skills courses more than the learning of cultural lessons. Therefore, the carrying out of the teaching of Chinese activity course has become a wise choice for majority of Chinese teachers in secondary vocational schools. To carry out various forms of Chinese activities in secondary vocational schools is to build a bridge for the Chinese teaching and developing ability of application. It is an oasis of Chinese teaching in secondary vocational schools, full of vitality and hope. Most Chinese activities in secondary vocational schools look lively, but they lack effective organization and reasonable design, so it is difficult to achieve tangible results. This paper analyzes the advantages of Chinese activities in cultivating students’ language proficiency and explores the implementation strategies for developing students’ Chinese proficiency in the activities. This paper also aims to exploring the forms of organization and teaching contents of Chinese activities in secondary vocational schools, from the perspective of intellectual interest, looking forward to improve teaching efficiency of Chinese activities course in secondary vocational schools, developing students’ Chinese comprehensive ability and making the Chinese teaching in secondary vocational schools out of the difficulties.
