In April 2001, the Ministry of Education issued the ordinary senior high school "research-oriented learning" Implementation Guide (Trial), make the research-oriented learning as a compulsory course for full-time ordinary senior high school courses. This is a new change of learning style, it has changed the traditional knowledge infusion mode, the subject as the driving force, designed to cultivate students’ ability to find problems, analyze and solve problems. The research-oriented learning has the inquiry, the creativity, the initiative as well as the cooperation curriculum, can greatly enhance the student’s ability.As a senior high school history teacher and the research-oriented learning guidance teachers, I hope my research on the combination of the historical research-oriented learning and local historical and cultural resources, can find out proper guidance of this type of research-oriented learning, makes the students who choose this type of research-oriented learning can get some exercise and growth, and improve their ability ultimately.At the same time, I also hope that, by carrying out such research, take the local historical and cultural resources as the medium, closer the distance of students and history teaching, historical knowledge. And enhance their interest in learning history.As the research-oriented learning guidance teachers, in guiding the learning, enhance my ability to develop and utilization the local historical and cultural resources, and then teachers and students can have growth in the same course to grow together.In this paper I take the 2013 grade and 2014 grade students of the Haikou Qiongshan senior high school.First, I collect their topics of the research-oriented learning of the local historical and cultural resources, and then analysis topics and the investigations of these students, eventually reveal the problems of this type learning.Then, based on my own history teaching experience and the guidance of research learning, this paper tries to propose the guiding method for this type of research-oriented learning. I collects a the local historical and cultural resources that suitable for the senor high school students in the Haikou area, and lets the students know what they can choose to research. And then I emphasize several important principles which have to be followed during this type of research-oriented learning. Finally, I take an example to show how to carry out this type of research-oriented learning, and how to maximize its effectiveness.In the end, I elaborate the positive effects of this type of research-oriented learning by the perspective of students, teachers and the protection of local historical and cultural resources, to demonstrate the importance of the combination of the historical research-oriented learning and local historical and cultural resources. I hope my research can make a good effect on the combination of the historical research-oriented learning and local historical and cultural resources.
