With the continuous expansion of city, a large number of new urban junior high schools emerge. However, there is great difference in learning level, ideology, value orientation and way of life among students here, so a "tutorial system" for students’ development with head teachers as the core and the full participation of other teachers is necessary. This paper is to study the new class management mode. And the research is divided into the following parts:The first chapter is introduction, which expounds research background and research significance, examines previous research at home and abroad as well as introduces the research procedure and research methods.The second chapter is about the students’ growth tutorial system, which mainly expounds the theoretical basis of the system, and related concepts of this system.The third chapter is a case study of the Star City Experimental Middle School in Wangcheng District, Changsha City. Firstly the basic situation of tutorial system in this school is introduced including the implementation background, basic connotation, the job description, and mentor reward system. Secondly, this paper discusses the practice exploration of the students’ growth tutor system and several typical modes.The forth chapter is a questionnaire which statistically studies the tutorial system in the Star City Experimental Middle School and describes the achievement of the school with the help of tutor system. Also, potential problems are identified and ways of improvement are examined in this chapter.The last chapter is a summary of this thesis which concludes the achievements and shortcoming of the research. Furthermore, suggestions are provided for further study in the future. |
