Research On Development Strategy Of Xi’an Aeronautical Polytechnic Institute

Attaching great importance to the development of higher vocational education is not only an inevitable need for overall development, but also a critical safeguard to implement the strategy of reinvigorating China through science, education and human resources. The rapid development of China’s economy requires support by various types of talent, particularly the high technique talent. For higher vocational education’s special role in training technical personnel, it is necessary to pay important attention to the development of vocational education. In our country, the development of which has already entered into a new stage at present. And its development model is in the process of transformation from more focus on quality content-type development rather than simply the expansion of the scale. This requires higher vocational institutions to make timely adjustments in strategy to adapt the rhythm and pace of the country’s overall development.Xi’an Aeronautical Polytechnic Institute is the base which raises and transports talented persons primarily for the country’s aviation and transportation industries. With the continuous deepening of the vocational education management system, autonomous rights of higher vocational colleges become larger accordingly. Which makes higher vocational colleges face more intense competition. It do bring unprecedented opportunities for development,but threats and challenges come at the same time. Such situation needs higher vocational and technical colleges not only solve problems occur in the process of transformation,but focus more on quality content-type development rather than simply the expansion of the scale, like the lack of education resources,unreasonable professional setting, obsolete student training program, poor environment and management system,etc. Meanwhile based on a long term to cultivate international technical talent for the country and society Therefore, it becomes urgent for higher vocational colleges to accelerate the step on make their development strategy, a strategy not only meets the essence of education, but also the needs of national development strategic planning.After strict study and investigation on the theory and application of the development strategy of Xi’an Aeronautical Polytechnic Institute, based on SWOT analysis method,this paper analyzes the related vocational education environment and aviation industry background. Study and formulate a feasible and practical development strategy plan and implementation of the system to the practical matters,combine with the external threats and opportunities, internal strengths and weaknesses.Put forward safeguard measures to the strategic implementation,and evaluate and control it at the same time.
