Higher vocational colleges are the main source of high-quality laborers needed for regional social and economic development.Facing the rapid change of the new round of industrial revolution,higher vocational colleges should cultivate more high-quality,highly-skilled workers.Under this background,colleges ought to strengthen ties with industry in order to improve the adaptability of education development and industrial upgrading.However,we must realize that teaching ability is directly related to the quality of teaching.As "industry-education integration" becoming the main theme,teachers urgently need to accelerate the reform of teaching ability reconstruction in order to keep up with new industry development.In order to understand the current teaching abilities of teachers in higher vocational colleges and their needs,this study takes the professional teachers of manufacturing majors as the research object.The research is carried out using a combination of theoretical research and empirical research,including literature research method,questionnaire survey method survey interview method and so on.Firstly,this study determines the basic analysis framework and analysis perspective.Through the integration of 4 different first-level competence dimensions with 4 different analysis perspectives,we can gain 16 secondary ability dimensions,which are the foothold of this study.On this basis,the factors affecting the improvement of teaching ability are analyzed and determined.Secondly,through questionnaire survey,data statistics and analysis,it's clear that current teaching abilities of teachers has deficiencies in terms of cooperation,difference,high order,adaptability and so on.Thirdly,this study takes the form of interviews in order to understand why teachers have difficulty adapting to new challenges.Exploring the reasons behind it mainly involves issues such as insignificant cooperation and mutual assistance,difficulty in achieving self-optimization,mechanization of the training system and indexation of the evaluation system.Finally,according to the status quo analysis and obstacle exploration,this study proposes several strategies for promoting the development of teaching abilities in perspective of individual teachers,school management and enterprise assistance.
