Since the introduction of activity teaching in China from western countries, it has been welcomed widely applied in the classroom by the theoretical researchers and Chinese teachers in primary and middle schools. There has been a lot of improvement compare to the previous traditional cramming method of teaching; the concept of activity teaching has gone deep in the hearts of people. But up to the present, there are still many problems in the Chinese class. For example, some teachers believe that the activity is group discussion; some others think that the activity is the autonomous learning activities of students. These problems in activity teaching are the main causes of the lack of effectiveness in Chinese class activity teaching. Therefore, based on the analysis of the problems exists in high school Chinese class activity teaching, the author puts forward some solutions for the problem, which means to present the advantages of activity teaching in high school Chinese class as much as possible.This paper is mainly divided into three parts.The first part introduces several important concepts of activity teaching, makes clear the research category in this paper, and explains the great significance and value of activity teaching in Chinese class.The second part analyses the main problem existing in the present high school Chinese class teaching from the three parts: the teachers and students’ understanding of related concept and principle; the definition of the roles of both teachers and students; the objective condition and evaluation method of activity teaching.The third part is the emphasis of this paper, aiming at the problem existing in high school Chinese class activity teaching. It also put forward the strategies and specific measures based on the concept of new curriculum: strengthen the concept and principle of activity teaching learning and the effectiveness of teacher’s leading role; give reasonable teaching evaluations, make use of Chinese activity teaching resources and pay attention to the development. All these methods are intended to provide some reference to high school teachers in actual practice.The advantage of activity teaching is obvious, the correct and reasonable use of this teaching method can effectively stimulate students’ interest in learning and improve the classroom efficiency.
