Junior high school is an important stage in the development of students. As an important course which can promote the development of student thought personal character, the ideological and moral lessons play an important role on junior middle school students. With the development of society, the ideological and moral lessons also make corresponding changes. There are some new rules about the ideological and moral lessons in the "ideological and moral curriculum standards(2011 edition)". These rules make ideological and moral lessons more close to the student life, but also propose to help students to lead an active and healthy life, to be a responsible citizen of the concept of curriculum. Even though the curriculum mention this idea, but there still existing many problems in the process of guiding the students in the real life. How to through the ideological and moral lessons to help students have an active and healthy life has become an important subject. So I study the necessity and ways of it to help students live an active and healthy life.The paper is divided into three parts:The first part is an overview of the active and healthy life. It analyzes the connotation, characteristics and performance. The active and healthy life which is referred in the curriculum is beneficial to the development of students. It has a positive, scientific and elegance of features, in the personal domain, individual and collective, and the people field of and the state and society, individual and natural aspects have different performance.The second part analyzes the necessity of ideological and moral lessons to help students live an active and healthy life. First, help students to live an active and healthy life consistent with their moral attribute. Second, curriculum standard contains some requirements about the ideological and moral lessons. It helps students have an active and healthy life, which can be found from the basic concept, course target, course content and other parts. Third, students live an active and healthy life is also the needs of the development of their ideology and moral character. On the one hand, having an active and healthy life is an important symbol of students’ ideological and moral development; on the other hand, it is also an important way to improve students’ ideology and moral character.The third part mainly discussed the ways of helping students live an active and healthy life through moral character. First, teachers can help students learn to live an active and healthy life from classroom teaching. Mainly includes: The teachers set the teaching goal that can help students to develop themselves and guide them to set their own learning and development goals; They can choose the teaching content from the life to strengthen the bonds of teaching content and student life; They should use various teaching methods reasonably to make the students have good characters and behavior habits; They should also create all kinds of life situation which can let the students obtain the rich experience, to help students improve the consciousness and the ability to live an active and healthy life. Second, ideological and moral teachers can help students learn to live an active and healthy life in after-school life. Teachers should pay attention to the influence of their own language and behavior on students. They can make use of after-school time to carry out the rich variety of games, to make the students aware and improve in the games. They should pay attention to cooperate with students’ parents, creating a good family environment for students. They also should pay attention to practice and the real social life influence on students. Ideological and moral teachers can make the students master the methods of living an active and healthy life in practice by conducting all kinds of social practice activities. Third, scientific evaluation is also an important way to help students live an active and healthy life. Ideological and moral teachers should pay attention to the diversification of evaluation subject and the diversification of evaluation content. They take students’ performance in life as the evaluation content, to promote the student constantly improve their own behavior and raise the level of ideology and moral character. By these means, students can improve their behaviors and become responsible citizens living an active and healthy life.
