With the development of the new curriculum reform and the implementation of quality education, teachers’ humanistic quality has attracted the experts and scholars more and more attention, especially for science teacher, the lever of the teachers’ humanistic quality greatly affects students’. Humanity qualities play an essential part in the culture inheritance and personality development,so how to measure and improve teachers’ humanistic quality has become the urgent needs of social development. So the priority of this research is to compile a humanistic quality scale of the middle school chemistry teachers and to apply it preliminary.In this study, it build the indicator system of the scale through the methods such as literature analysis, questionnaire survey and interviews firstly.. Secondly, it calculated the levels of index weights through analytic hierarchy process and formed a preliminary scale of humanistic quality of middle school chemistry teacher.Finally, it carried on a simple preliminary application of the scale.The paper is divided into five parts:Part I: introduction,this part mainly summarizes the research background and significance of this topic, research status and relevant definition of the core concepts and research ideas, methods.Part II:the construction of index system.This part mainly includesthree aspects,first of all, it build initial index system through literature analysis and expert interview; Secondly,it formed the final index system of the scale through the questionnaire of high school chemistry teacher and the efficiency analysis of scale from the two aspects of the reliability and validity.Part III:The third part is mainly to determine the weight of the index system of the scale.In this paper,it used Analytic Hierarchy Method(AHP)to determine the weight of the index system and formed a full scale which that include the index system and its weight.Part IV:The fourth part is mainly to apply preliminary scale. Through the study of the questionnaire survey of high school chemistry teacher,and that further verify the validity and operational characteristics of the scale,and the current situation of humanities of middle school chemistry teachers.Part V:The fifth part is the conclusion, this part mainly to summarize the conclusions of the paper and then advance the deficiency and the further studies of this paper.
