With the development of the times, higher vocational education has become an important part of higher education in our country. The core competence of higher vocational colleges is the overall quality of the teachers. However, with the rapid development of economy, there are also unfair distribution problems in higher vocational colleges, which is not scientific. For the establishment of a good distribution relationship and to standardize the distribution system, government agencies and institutions of higher vocational colleges, including salary system for the implementation of performance established a fair and harmonious income distribution mechanism and scientific and reasonable evaluation mechanism, mobilization of the higher vocational colleges teaching staffs enthusiasm and creativity. The Chuzhou Vocational College of X as the research object, the performance wage system reform and development research, to performance management theory, equity theory as a guide, to discover, analyze and solve the problem as the research ideas, the paper analyzes the current situation and existing problems of the performance pay system, countermeasure suggestions to solve these problems.This paper mainly consists of the following parts. The first part, introduction. Mainly on the research background and significance, domestic and foreign research status, research ideas and methods are discussed in this paper. The second part, the definition of related concepts and theoretical basis. First of all, the definition of the concept of Higher Vocational College and performance salary. Secondly, the theoretical basis of this study is briefly introduced, such as equity theory, incentive theory and the theory of distribution according to work. The third part, the general situation of performance salary reform in Chuzhou X vocational colleges. First of all, the status of Chuzhou X vocational colleges and teaching staff. Secondly, this paper introduces the performance salary system framework of Chuzhou X Career Academy. Again, the paper briefly discusses the implementation process of the performance pay reform in Chuzhou X Career Academy. At last, this paper introduces the achievements of the reform of performance pay in X Higher Vocational Colleges in Chuzhou:the status and treatment of teachers are improved obviously, and the motivation of teacher’s work is constantly improved. The fourth part, the problems existing in the reform of performance pay in X Higher Vocational Colleges in Chuzhou. Mainly include:performance appraisal system is not perfect; performance appraisal index is not perfect; performance appraisal method is not perfect; the student assessment of teachers, etc.. The fifth part, promote the development of Chuzhou X vocational school performance salary reform proposals. Specific recommendations include: improve the performance appraisal system; improve the performance appraisal indicators; improve the performance evaluation methods; enhance the students’ scientific evaluation of teachers and so on. The sixth part is the conclusion.
