Nowadays, with the development of the society and education, "ecology" this word has become a new perspective in the field of education. The concept of ecology has gradually pervaded every field of social life. Ecology and education are the hot topic nowadays. Therefore, the author aims to study ecological teaching basic theory and education theory, based on the theory to guide the practice, by the practice of classroom instructional design of English ecological teaching in primary school to get the suggestions and reflection. The following questions are mainly solved:(1) What is ecological teaching?(2)What is the feature of the ecological teaching?(3) How to practice the ecological English teaching in primary school? How to reflect the ecology’s nature?(4) What is the reflection of the practice of the ecological teaching?This paper combines the ecological teaching basic viewpoints with education ecology which provides theoretical support. It also uses the literature method, case analysis method, and action research method to make the classroom instructional design of English ecological teaching in primary school to provide thoughts on it. The author randomly selects 45 teachers in order to know the situation of English teaching in primary school and teachers’ understanding for teaching. And this paper conducts a questionnaire survey of 47 grade 3 students. By the results of pre-test and post-test survey feedback and the practice of the teaching process, the following proof :(1) English ecological teaching in primary school can improve the students’ interest in learning English, and have a positive impact on their development.(2) English ecological teaching in primary school can be put into practice and get good results, and it’s good for the students’ sustainable development.It found that teaching content of ecological teaching should be close to students’ life, the diversity of teaching methods will have good effect on the effectiveness of teaching. Classroom teaching environment need to be free and open moderately, which is good for student’s development. " Students as the base" of the evaluation mechanism increases student’s confidence. This paper provides practical value for English ecological teaching in primary school.
