With the gradual improvement of the market system, especially since the reform and opening up, there is a great opportunity for Chinese private education and training institutions development. The survival and development of private education and training institutions has becoming the attention of the whole community.The course content of private education and training institutions are increasingly rich. Parent education courses are becoming more and more welcomed. Every parent should try to learn "How to become a qualified parent".The curriculum development of private education and training institutions has its own characteristics. Market needs, institutional development and practice results are what they are pay attention to. This differ from the formal education system which knowledge system as the goal of curriculum development.This thesis is based on the study of private education and training institutions parenting education curriculum development. The study is Shanghai S institution "positive discipline courses" curriculum design. The study is mainly through questionnaires and interviews,S institutional management personnel, full-time teachers and students are the research subject. This study is in order to provide some references for private education and training institutions to develop curriculum design. The paper is divided into six parts:Chapter One:Introduction.In this part, I introduce the reason and background of this study.I also introduce the research purpose, content, research methods and research ideas.Chapter Two:Literature review and define the core concepts. I list the private education and training institutions, parent education, curriculum development, positive discipline through documents to lay a good foundation of the research. I also define the core concepts.Chapter Three:The curriculum development of "Positive Discipline courses" in S institution. I select S agency managers, full-time teachers and students as samples to finish questionnaires and interviews. The data researches, analysis showing the status of curriculum development of S institution.Chapter Four:Analysis of present status of "positive discipline courses" in S institution. I describe the advantages, the main problems of curriculum development. Thereby I analysis the affecting factors of curriculum development issues.Chapter Five:Suggestions of "Positive Discipline courses" curriculum development of S institution. There are four suggestions:curriculum development path, management strategies, optimize personnel structure, establish and improve mechanisms for monitoring and diagnosis.Based on the study of these six chapters, we can concluded:Curriculum Development is of great significance for private education and training institutions. There are some deficiencies in the path of curriculum development and management strategies, we still need further improvement in order to make more effective curriculum development.
