College counselors are comparatively young and indispensable in China’s colleges and universities. They are guiders of college students in their study and lives, and also directors of the healthy growth of college students. They help college students to develop and improve their comprehensive quality and promote the development of the college students’ education.At present, the college counselor team strength is rather abundant in China. The colleges are equipped with a certain number of full-time and part-time counselors, and the graduate students take as the full-time counselors in a part of the colleges,but many of them are lack of deep theoretical researches and basis for the development of college counselors, therefore they will face various forms of difficulties and problems. What need to focus on is how to enhance the work efficient of graduate students as full-time counselors.In the first chapter, the author presents research background, research significance,definition of research topic, researches status at home and abroad, and the research methods and innovations.In the second chapter, the author shows the literature review, including the history and status of college counselor system in our country, the article summarizes the development of college counselor system, and systematically analyze the status of college counselor team in our country.In the third chapter, the author analizes the significance and its working characteristic of full-time college counselor. And this article points out that the full-time college counselor of graduate students are powerful supplements for the team construction of college counselor, atthe same time, it is beneficial to the improvement of the graduate students’ ability and development.In the fourth chapter, the author provides a questionnaire survey, this article takes graduate students full-time college counselor in North University as an example, to improve the purpose and pertinence of theory research.In the fifth chapter, the author analyses the advantages and disadvantages of graduate students who are as full-time college counselors in practice on the basis of the full understanding of the unique identity of graduate students.In the sixth chapter, the author discusses the difficulties and problems which graduate students as full-time college counselors may encounter in their work. This paper strengthens the construction of full-time college counselors from two aspects: strengthening the construction of their own and improving team construction.
