Teaching relates to real life which is an important teaching principle. Since 2001 the implementation of the New Curriculum reform of elementary education in our country, the theory of teaching based on life have been valued. In addition, educators and teachers begin to pay attention to it. In Chinese Curriculum Standards of Compulsory Education (2011) which enacted by Ministry of Education, curriculum idea, curriculum objectives and content and teaching advice all show the significance of life experience of students in teaching. Chinese is the subject which is closely linked to life, and primary Chinese is the cornerstone of learning in their life. Nowadays, teachers are trying to combine Chinese teaching with real life to teach. However, in this process, teachers will meet some troubles. This study want to investigate the trouble which teachers meet in the process of teaching based on life, and analyze the reason to find solutions to solve these troubles which based on previous theory, the idea of the new curriculum standards of education and the practice in Chinese. Specifically, its main contents include the following three aspects:In the first place, the study reviews the domestic and international literature related to teaching based an life. And defines the concept of teaching based on life and the Chinese teaching in primary based on life to comprehend them and make the study more targeted.Secondly, the study investigated and analyze about the dilemma of Chinese teachers carrying out teaching based on life the in primary school. The survey shows that parents misunderstand and disapprove teaching based on life; school leaders shows some scruple; the communities of schools is hard to offer abundant condition; Chinese teachers in primary school lack practical knowledge and weak teaching skills influence on teaching.Finally, the study attempt to find the effective ways of Chinese teachers carrying out teaching based on life. According to the Part two of the study to put forward some related solutions. On the objective aspect, seeking support from parents and make them change their thought of success; then appealing school leaders to change the evaluation method on teacher and students; also, communities need to provide schools more resource. On the subjective aspect, Chinese teachers in primary school should enrich their knowledge and upgrade teaching skills.
