A Research On The Problems And Countermeasuresof Composition Revising In High School Guided By The Concept Of New Curriculum Reform

Revising of composition is an indispensable step in composition teaching, and it is an important means to improve the writing skill and ability of students. Furthermore, composition revising is one of the main channels for students to assess the writing competency and for teachers to learn the efficiency of composition teaching. Currently,there are some problems, that needs to be studied, existing in the composition teaching, especially in the composition revising.The concept of new curriculum reform about composition teaching is effective in inspiring students to revise the composition and improving their writing skill. Based on analysis of the data collected from the students and teachers by questionnaires in a high school of a case city, we found that students were generally become a subject of composition correction.But at the same time there are problems, such as the pressure of the exam-oriented education, the inertia to traditional teaching and the faulty attitude of students.All these problems should be solved by unremitting efforts. From the Strategies for improving the teaching design about composition revising, Strategies for improving the writing competency of the teachers sad Strategies for improving cooperation of the teachers and students in composition revising three parts to solve the problems.Teachers should change the traditional teaching concept, attaches great importance to the thesis revising, thinking and improve writing ability, control of the classroom with more flexible means, guide and inspire students actively,guide students’ reflective thinking after revising. And the students should attain the serious academic attitudes, cooperate with the teachers to participate in composition revising and class discussions, and at last the teachers and students complete the task of teaching together. The strategies established in this research can help teachers to provide more in-depth and more detailed guidance to students, and can also help the students to learn the advantages and disadvantages of their composition and improve the writing skill.
