Research On Social Work Practice For Helping Children Of Rural Workers Integrating Into City Life

Along with China’s urban-rural dual structure, industrialization and urbanization, China’s rural workers keep growing. In recent years, China’s rural workers tend to be younger, make remote marriage, and family migrant. Labor migrant change from simple growth model gradually into families move into the city, the number of rural workers’ children continues to grow. Rural workers and their children are becoming an integral content in the process of urbanization. Typically, rural workers’ children transform from the countryside into the cities, faced with a new external environment, and in education, medical care and other aspects do not get equal treatment, coupled with the impact of family economic status, language differences in customs, their social interaction is also facing difficulties, how they can be integrated into the city become a big test. Social work professional ethics and values reflected humane care to the rural workers’ children, and can provide a professional perspective helping analysis their social integration problems, then be able to use professional approach to promote their social integration. Therefore, to explore social work practice the social inclusion of rural workers’ children studies can contribute to their citizens and social harmonious development.This paper, taking "City House Youth Partnership" project as an example, the rural workers’children is the study projects, using ecological theoretical perspective, carding status of rural workers’ children after they transformed into the city and the problems them facing. Explore how social work practices rural workers’ children to improve their social inclusion. Then put forward scientific and feasible countermeasures and suggestions for future researchers and engage in frontline social work practice reference. This paper use the methods of literature review, questionnaire, and depth interview to collect data, adopted quantitative and qualitative to analysis the data collected. This paper analyzed from the perspective of the theory of ecosystem found rural workers’ children existing poor adaptation of microscopic system, the loss of function meso system, macro-adjustment system lagged and other problems. "City House Youth Partnership "project Select 10 rural workers ’children to carry out group work, one rural workers’ child to carry out casework, Project achieved remarkable results, when compared with other voluntary service and support activities, social work practice rural workers’ children has significant advantages.Overall, in "City House Youth Partnership" project social workers’service capabilities, social institutions’ ability to develop, social support and other aspects do have problem. In the intervention social workers should improve in the following areas:First, establish a professional relationship. In the process of establishing a professional relationship, with the deepening of the relationship between social workers and team members, when social workers dealing with the relationship with team members it tend to be more casual, professional relationships is vague. Second, enhance the ability to guide. To improve the Social Work practice the social inclusion of rural workers’ children. Firstly, need to strengthen the system construction, promote structural reform. Secondly, format community support, build community platform. Thirdly, clear social orientation, diversification in Practice mode; and finally, improve assessment mechanisms, promote personnel development, and ultimately realize social Practice model of pluralism and the development of social institutions.
