Teacher’s professional skills are the most important career quality as the students of higher vocational normal college.At the background of the rapid development of vocational education in China,because of some subjective and objective factors,higher vocational normal college’s training of students is still under the ideal level,which leads to a fact: the higher vocational normal college students’ teaching skills are not satisfied to follow the fast development and reform of elementary education.Based on this fact the research takes the higher vocational normal college students’ teacher professional skills as the main point of this research and analyzes the relevant issues,so as to make some contributions to the development of the teacher’s education.In this research,literature research,classroom observation and questionnaire are the methods mainly adopted.After reviewing the literatures concerning the development of teacher’s professional skills at home and abroad,this article attempts to define and analyze the professional skills of higher vocational normal college students and to establish the professional skills system of them.Then,vertical and horizontal cross dimensions are selected to reach the goal.In the vertical dimension,the subjects are undergraduate teacher trainees,whose performances in micro-teaching including language skills,teaching skills,classroom management skills are collected according to the scale of higher vocational normal college students’ professional skills.In the horizontal dimension,the author analyzed the problems and influential factors in the training of teachers’ professional skills and suggestions according to the questionnaire.Classroom observation and questionnaire reflect the current situation of higher vocational normal college students’ professional skills.The research suggests that make new talents cultivation goals and periodical skill-reach goals;strengthen the professional skills course in the development of teachers’ professional skills;establish valuation system;strengthen supervision of the training;develop the specific standard;construct exchanges with local education departments.
