Water volleyball is a new sport in the water, which originated from the course of swimming in Beijing Sport University. For the university swimming teaching content arrangement, it is a pioneering significance. From the students’participation enthusiasm, the water volleyball has a very high value. But because of the influence of the field, the rule and the artificial factors on the water volleyball, this limitation has restricted the development of the water volleyball in a certain extent. In this study, the feasibility analysis of the water volleyball in Colleges and universities, at the same time, according to the situation of the development of Volleyball in the water to put forward countermeasures to promote the development of water volleyball in Colleges and universities.This article through the literature material method, on-the-spot investigation method, questionnaire survey method, mathematical statistics method, interview and case analysis, and other methods, distribution of a questionnaire of the feasibility and strategy of water volleyball in Colleges and universities, Beijing University of physical education for a total of 260 copies and Beijing University water row ball game 150, get the following conclusions.1 in Beijing colleges and universities have carried out water volleyball conditions including:facilities, school swimming in function, the situation of school swimming course content arrangement, water volleyball and water volleyball value involved.2 water volleyball in Colleges and universities to carry out the objective factors:first, to enrich the content of Swimming Curriculum in Colleges and universities; second, actively guide the role of the teacher in swimming lessons and in a support role for the swimming extracurricular swimming pool management department; third, students are in class, extracurricular participation and water volleyball players.3 Beijing University to carry out water volleyball has certain advantages, on the one hand:school to irreplaceable role, in the investigation of some colleges and universities in more than 80% of the swimming teachers agreed to increase water volleyball match in the swimming class, another:in the survey of Beijing University has a can be use water volleyball venues and facilities to support; in addition, inside and outside the swimming lessons for students actively participate in attitude is water volleyball can smoothly carry out an important foundation.4 Effects of water volleyball in college swimming course, carry out the main factors:the effect of swimming lessons to carry out the main factors are teacher, student, field, the rules of the game; the main factors influence swimming in the extracurricular is swimming pool management department and the school system, place, time and the rules of the game.5 colleges and universities to carry out countermeasures for water volleyball project is:water volleyball and swimming school courses combined, increase capital investment, tissue water volleyball match, the establishment of good water volleyball club, have to increase the propaganda, and constantly improve the rules of the game.
