The method of literature, mathematical statistics, comparison and logical analysis, the Sino American sports tourism professional courses in order to set as the research object, from the curriculum training target, curriculum structure and contents, teaching methods and teaching evaluation, practice practice course arrangement and employment direction five aspects of comparative analysis. The results show that: China and the United States in the curriculum of sports tourism professional settings, there is a big difference. In view of our country college sports tourism specialized course setting, it is recommended from American colleges and universities scientific and reasonable curriculum concept and method, suitable for the construction of colleges and universities of our country sports tourism professional curriculum system settings, in order to provide a theoretical basis for the cultivation of sports tourism talents in China. In this paper:(1) American sports tourism professional training objectives positioning accurate, with the diversity of social demands, and pay more attention to the cultivation of practical ability of management; China’s professional training goal setting is too general, the definition is not clear enough, professional pertinence is not strong.(2) American colleges and universities elective course credits high, compulsory course credits, students can choose according to their own preferences, interest free choice; China’s professional curriculum structure, compulsory course too much, and the university course basically the same.(3) the American curriculum content has rich experience, clear hierarchy, diverse specifications, theory and practice, the curriculum content of our country based on the theory of knowledge teaching, "heavy theory, light practice".(4) American colleges and universities in the teaching methods and teaching evaluation, pay attention to students’ individual ability to exercise, to competency assessment as the main purpose; the teaching methods and teaching evaluation with respect to the form of the United States or some single does not have the flexibility.(5) because of American colleges and universities in the professional curriculum content and students’ employment work closely linked, jobs with strong directivity; in China due to the broader goal of cultivation, the student employment unit targeted is not strong, choice of the smaller range. Through the comparison of Sino American professional sports tourism in the curriculum and analysis of the existing problems, it is recommended in Colleges and universities of our country in sports tourism courses arranged on the efforts to achieve the following points:(1) the training specifications diversification should be to strengthen the professional curriculum, focused and distinctive features;(2) optimizing the level of discipline, adjustment of the compulsory courses and elective courses of the structure of the proportion of;(3) to change, "the theory and practice of light" phenomenon;(4) increase teaching mode of diversification and the teaching evaluation of the scientific and rational.(5) with the change of the sports tourism supply to promote the optimization of the professional curriculum;(6) to strengthen the active participation of sports tourism researchers in the professional course setting.
