The core purpose of the functional training is preventing sport injury and lengthening the sport life span. The main idea of functional training is “Sport is movement”, and the good movement plays a significant role in preventing sport injury.Including seven functional movement patterns, FMS which is one of important base in personal functional training plan, besides, FMS supervises the whole training plan. Due to the characteristics of itself, basketball has high injury risk. This paper taking the Literature data method, Measuring method, Questionnaire survey method, Data statistics and comparative analysis etc, using Functional Movement Screen to test students functional movement performance, and investigating information of sport injury by questionnaire,then to research relation between functional movement and basketball sport injury.Conclusion:1. The mean points of 68 students FMS is 13.68, the female students mean points of FMS is 14 and the male is 13.65.2. The students sports injury positions, in specialty students majored in sport coaching in CUPES, concentrate on shoulder, low back, knee and ankle.3. There has a relationship between functional movement and basketball injury. Shoulder injury has high relationship with functional movement of Shoulder mobility, Inline lunge and Rotary stability; the low back sport injury has high relationship with Squat,Hurdle Step, Inline lunge, Active straight leg raise, Push up and Rotary stability; the knee injury has high relationship with Hurdle Step; the ankle injury has no relationship with Hurdle step and Inline lunge.4. Preventing basketball sport injury need to consider wrong functional movement pattern.
