The education system because of the wide use of modern information technology is about to undergo profound changes, including enhancing teaching and learning environment of the school, improving the traditional teaching means and methods,putting forward higher requirements for teachers’professional ability.After the integration of information technology and subject many years, currently how about information technology literacy of mathematics teachers at Hangzhou middle school.With this question carried out current situation investigation. Survey content includes basic information, the tendency of media usage, the concept of information technology, the awareness of students and curriculum resources, perfect self improvement, etc. The survey found that middle school mathematics teachers’information technology literacy is qualified, but there is still a lot of margin for improvement. For example, some teachers give up modern equipment and software, and tend to manual work. So the multimedia in the campus is not high utilization. The level of student dimension, the curriculum dimension, the concept dimension and the improvement dimension increase in sequence. There are significant differences about middle school mathematics teachers’information technology literacy in the variables, including qualifications, seniority, computer grade, the route of obtaining information technology and competent stage. Highly educated teachers, high-level computer teachers, lower seniority teachers tend to use modern information technology equipment and software. Excellent teachers’scores were higher than other teachers’in all respects. Information technology education is very important after the induction. Finally, gives information technology teaching cases by using the Geometer’s Sketchpad.
