Since early twenty-first Century, China began a new round of the basic education curriculum reform(hereinafter referred to as the new curriculum reform). Method of learning autonomy, cooperation and inquiry of the proposed new curriculum reflects the importance of participation in the process of teaching students. "Participatory" teaching is a creative, exploring knowledge learning which can make pedagogue, education and education organization management actively change ideas of education and teaching, in order to adapt to the further development of new curriculum reform. The new class of traditional ideological and moral teaching can not well reflect the changes advocated by the teaching goal, can not adapt to the development requirements of the new curriculum. In order to promote the effective implementation of the new curriculum reform, we must in the practice teaching of Ideological and moral lessons in in-depth study of "Participatory" teaching.The main contents of this paper are as follows. In the introduction part, the paper expounds the present situation of the topic, the domestic and foreign research status, and the significance, purpose and method of the research, and puts forward the innovation points of this paper. The second part expounds the concept of "participation" teaching and its theoretical basis, and provides theoretical support for the implementation of the following. The third part, through the combination of the new curriculum reform, the ideological and moral course teaching situation, the mobilization of students’ enthusiasm, as well as the establishment of a new type of teacher-student relationship, to explore the necessity of the implementation of the "Participatory" teaching. The feasibility of implementing the "participating" teaching in the course of Ideological and moral education is demonstrated from the aspects of the contents of the new teaching materials, the three dimensional target system of the new curriculum and the change of the teaching idea. The fourth part is the implementation of the application part, mainly expounds the "Participatory" teaching in the ideological and moral course of the application. This part introduces the content of the "participation" teaching the application of basic principles; participatory teaching application, combined with the "participation" teaching in the ideological and moral teaching the use of typical case analysis. In the fifth part, it mainly discusses how to take effective strategies to improve the students’ participation in the "Participatory" teaching process. The sixth part mainly analyzes the practice effect of the "Participatory" teaching. The last part is the question and the suggestion part, has carried on the ponder to the question which exists in the "participation" teaching application process, and puts forward some suggestions.
