Classical novel reading teaching is one of the important tasks at junior middle school Chinese teaching, because the whole of the junior middle school Chinese textbook’s novel is the classic works of ancient and modern, Chinese and foreign, which plays a vital role in the literature education of junior middle school. At the same time, "The Chinese Course Criterion of Full-time Compulsory Education" with a special focus on the process of Chinese teaching in junior middle school, by appreciating literary works to cultivate and improve students’ability in appreciation of the novel. Existing in the Chinese textbooks for junior middle school, elected to 25 novels. Although accepted by junior middle school students and reading, but the students what to read novels and how to read a novel,almost students are confused. At present, the Chinese teacher do not take for novel reading teaching and their own lack of novel reading teaching literacy, social and family reading environment is more and more serious, has been a very anxious.In this paper, based on the theories of pedagogy and psychology knowledge, the integrated use of literature research, questionnaire investigation and analysis, and conducted in-depth exploration and research of the current junior middle school Chinese classic novel read the problems and countermeasures. Thesis mainly divided into three parts:the first part expounds the importance of the Chinese classic novel reading teaching of junior middle school, in this part, this paper briefly introduces the definition of the concept and scope of classic novels firstly, and then use a form to point the classic novel in the junior middle school language teaching material distribution, which to stand out the importance of classical novels for junior middle school language reading teaching.Then from the literary accomplishment, moral sentiment, and the construction of knowledge system of the three aspects analyzes the classical novel of the importance of junior middle school Chinese reading teaching; The second part used in the form of questionnaire survey form to present junior middle school Chinese classic novel read relevant situation that through students, teachers and social reading environment three aspects has carried on the detailed analysis of problems;The third part is based on the second part of the teachers and students, reading environment three aspects to make a series of relevant countermeasures, guide the teachers and students to more effective learning and teaching direction correctly.
