The succinctly and training principle is an important principle in Chinese teaching as a foreign language. In order to improve students’Chinese communicative competence, the principle requires teachers to focus on the effective combination of "teaching" and "learning", "talk "and"training". However, those related research are mostly just theoretical explanation of the principle. It is still lack of corresponding teaching practice and verification. In terms of the Chinese teaching in Thailand, there’s also no relevant research temporarily. How the succinctly and training principle applies to Chinese teaching in Thailand, especially in primary school has become one of the issues that can be discussed. Therefore, this paper takes the behavioral learning theory and cognitive learning theory as the theoretical basis. The questionnaires and classroom observation are used as the main research method. Students’ learning situation and demands of Chinese were investigated by questionnaire before teaching. According to the survey results, the teaching design was carried out with the succinctly and training concept. I also put forward some opinions and suggestions on the specific application methods of the succinctly and training principle in Chinese comprehensive course of elementary school in Thailand. I hope to provide some reference for the future Chinese teaching in Thailand.This article is composed of six parts. The first part introduces the research background, status, meaning, purpose and research methods. The second part describes the theoretical basis of the succinctly and training principle. The third part is an analysis of students’Chinese learning situation and demands survey of the Jintue Kaeng-khoi School. The fourth part is the teaching design and practice. According to the findings of previous survey, I design teaching, display the specific implementation process, and make recommendations for the current situation of the school. The fifth part introduces the application method and application effect expectation of the principle. The sixth part is the conclusion, mainly concludes and clarify the limitations of this study.
