Thailand has incorporated Chinese into the national teaching system.Almost every primary and secondary school has Chinese courses,but the teaching effect is not ideal.There are many factors restricting the level of Chinese teaching,such as teachers,selection of textbooks,curriculum settings,etc.But the illogicality or deficiency of teaching design is a factor that can not be ignored.As an important part of teaching implementation,instructional design is not only the basis for teachers to carry out teaching activities,but also the guarantee for the successful completion of classroom teaching.Good teaching design is not only conducive to creating a strong classroom learning atmosphere,but also can maximize the enthusiasm of students in Chinese learning,cultivate the interest and habit of active learning,and then improve classroom efficiency,and successfully complete the teaching task.Guided by the theories of instructional design and second language acquisition,and combined with my Chinese teaching practice in Thailand,this paper chooses 23 lessons I'm going to Shanghai by plane in the first volume of Happy Chinese,a planned textbook of the National Hanban Office of China,as the object of instructional design.Through studying the object of study,this paper determines the teaching objectives and chooses the teaching methods.And skills,teaching content and other steps,try to design three class specific teaching cases.In the process of teaching,the student-centered teaching concept should be highlighted and the students should learn to communicate in Chinese in a happy way.As a stage work summary of my overseas practice,I hope this paper can bring some beneficial enlightenment to the elementary Chinese teaching in Thailand.The structure of this paper is as follows: The first chapter is the introduction,which briefly introduces the background and significance of the topic selection,the current research situation at home and abroad,etc.The second chapter is the analysis of the relevant elements of the teaching design of “I go to Shanghai by plane”,including the analysis of teaching environment,teaching materials,teachers,analysis of teaching objects,teaching objectives,teaching contents,teaching emphasis and difficulties,etc.The third chapter is teaching procedures of “I go toShanghai by plane”.The fourth chapter is teaching evaluation and reflection.The fifth part is the conclusion,summarizing the gains and losses of the design.
