MOOC, which conforms to the trend of the times to meet the learning needs of students, creating a great social value, is the trend of the Internet age. However, The development of MOOC also exists some problems. How to develop it in the next step, how to deal with Chinese universities to bring the development and use of the opportunities it brought about, is an important issue to be studied at this stage. After sorting out existing research findings, the definition of stakeholder was introduced into the paper. By consulting its ideas and methodologies, a new perspective for developing MOOC in colleges and universities were presented:study the effect of MOOC stakeholder s’demands on the development of MOOC. With studies of stakeholders, forces and factors to drive and block MOOC development were made clear. On this basis, analyses were made of the future development and conditions of MOOC. This would serve as practical basis and reference to the further development of MOOC in Chinese colleges and universities. In the review of MOOC research literature beginning of this paper is to show the theoretical lessons of nutrition, but also pointed out the foothold of this study:to predict and analyze the possible problems in the future MOOC development of university and analysis. To achieve the aforesaid purposes, the paper began by defining stakeholders, which were then divided into two hierarchies based on the degree of connections with knowledge. The first hierarchy included teachers, MOOC learners and MOOC platform; the second hierarchy consisted of colleges, universities, governments, MOOC investors or managers. As core stakeholders were in the first hierarchy, selective analysis was made of their demands in the paper. The demands of college and university faculties were divided into four categories during the implementation of MOOC, namely demands on teaching development, demands on specialty development, demands on individual development and demands on organization development. Demands on teaching development included: ideological reform, exploration of new teaching mode, improvement in teaching capability, teaching quality, teaching and in learning conditions, and enhanced information literacy. To meet the demands on specialty development, it was necessary to improve the scientific research level. Demands on individual development consisted of role conversion and positioning, relieved anxiety and pressure, salaries and benefits, self-assertion and social prestige. Demands on organization development comprised cooperation among teachers, authorized sponsorship rights, supports from administrative leadership and transformation in Evaluation Mechanism. The demands of MOOC learners could be analyzed both objectively and subjectively. Subjective demands mainly included notion innovation, further participation in MOOC, self-management and adjustment, improved foreign language proficiency, enhanced information literacy, receiving scores or diploma, satisfied curiosity and interest, career development, social contact, personalized learning, relieved anxiety and pressure. Objective demands were composed of MOOC learning conditions, preparatory knowledge, learning guidance, presentation way of MOOC contents, interaction and feedback, auxiliary means of courses, and leaning evaluation. The demands on MOOC platform comprised maintenance demands and development demands. Maintenance demands included technologies, contents and investment. Development demands included profit, page view (the number of registered users) and brand building. The development of MOOC in Chinese colleges and universities is to satisfy the increasing demands of stakeholders. In the future, the MOOC teaching will become professional, MOOC platform will get centralized and MOOC will be open to all participants.Based on analysis of stakeholders and predication of MOOC in colleges and universities, the paper argued that it was necessary for Chinese colleges and universities to play an active part in MOOC, explore optimal teaching mode for MOOC, and strengthen cooperation with all sectors of society. In this way, it would bring into full play the advantages and make full use of the advantages to embrace a brighter future.
