This research uses the compilation of Jiangsu Education Publish House’s version of Chinese textbook’s exercise system of primary school as a starting point to conduct investigation on textbook’s scientificalness. It mainly adopts documentary research method, data analysis method, Chinese curriculum standard and Chinese curriculum nature as basis of education and also adopts constructivism and zone of proximal development as psychological basis to systematically comb Jiangsu Education Publish House’s version of textbook’s after-class exercise and unit exercise for students from grade one to grade six.The research discovers that Jiangsu Education Publish House’s version of Chinese textbook’s exercise system of primary school generally covers what the curriculum standard requires. It also basically takes the characteristics of student’s psychological development into consideration. However, it also have problems, such as the difference between some exercise goals and real teaching goals, the difference between the requirement of ability training in exercise and the requirement of curriculum standard for student’s ability and lacking children’s perspectives.The author proposes to adjust the assumption based on this. First, it shall optimize the distribution of exercise’s knowledge; second, it shall reinforce the abilities of information process, comprehensive innovation and independent cooperation; last, it shall attach attention to children’s life experience, enhance exercise’s gamification and promote children’s perspectives.
