To improve the quality of teaching, the key should focus on teachers. Attaching importance to the teaching development of university teachers, constructing Faculty’s Instructional Development Center, and meeting the needs of the development of personalized professional teachers are important to better enhance the teaching and research capabilities.In recent years, China’s Non-governmental Institutions have achieved better development in terms of size and quantity. They are important part of China’s higher education. In the face of increasingly fierce competition, the construction of Non-governmental Institutions’Faculty’s Instructional Development Center and the improvement of the ability, quality and professional level of teachers to improve the quality of teaching in Non-governmental Institutions are very necessary. However, the center of Non-governmental Institutions is still in the initial exploration stage. Most of the construction work stays at the superficial level and lacks relevant practice and related support. Therefore, it is not only necessary but also urgent to study on the actual Faculty’s Instructional Development Center in Non-governmental Institutions. This research consists of four parts.The first part is the introduction. This paper mainly organizes and reviews the relevant research results about the construction of Faculty’s Instructional Development Center at home and abroad, and summarizes the research purpose and significance, research ideas and methods and the innovation points of this paper.The second part is theoretical analysis. It states the basic connotation of the Non-governmental Institutions, university teachers, university teacher development and teacher education development center, and analyzes the theoretical logic of the theory of organization development, and the application of theory in the field of higher education. Then, from the perspective of organizational structure, function location, condition guarantee, team building, performing the functions and effects, internal management and characteristic influence, the present situation of the construction of teachers’ teaching development center is analyzed.The third part is the analysis of the current situation, achievements, problems and its causes of the Faculty’s Instructional Development Center of Guangxi GW University through questionnaires and interviews.The fourth part summarizes the third part of the investigation, and in the perspective of theory of organization development, it proposes suggestions to the improvement of Guangxi GW University’Faculty’s Instructional Development Center construction.
