Research On The Current Situation And Strategy Of The Development Of The Patriotic Education In The Middle School Geography Teaching

Geography as a basic subject of middle school, in addition to training students’ good habits of thinking, understanding the law of the sustainable development of the natural environment, and guide students to form correct values of emotional attitude. Patriotic emotion is one of the important goals of emotional attitude and values.Geographical discipline has a distinct discipline characteristic, rich teaching contents become the advantage of patriotism education, Based on the characteristics of the subject of geography, this paper put forward suitable content of patriotism education:situation awareness, awareness of resources, territorial, environmental awareness, a sense of crisis, both to adapt to the needs of the development of the times and more easily acceptable to adolescents. This paper takes the teachers and students in the second middle school and the middle school in Putian of Fujian as the research object,using the questionnaire form,status quo of the patriotic education in the survey of geography teaching,it is pointed out that the existing common teaching concept is not strong, educated active awareness of the problem of weak and analysis the main reason for uneven quality of teachers, lack of education evaluation system.Based on the investigation of the present situation is proposed in this paper patriotism education should adhere to the scientific, open, inclusive, times of principle, and by teachers to set a good example, the establishment of three-dimensional multi material library, contrast teaching method, practice teaching, perfect education evaluation method to better implement the education of patriotism.
