Nowadays, the quality education requires attention to the emotional development of childre n. Take the children’s all-round development in the first place, not only emphasize the develop ment of intellectual education. However, because of several reasons like the unequal education r esources between urban and rural areas, the imbalance of rural education information developme nt, and the teachers and parents’educational ideas are out of date, which lead to the insuffient development of rural elementary school’s emotional learning. The rural elementary school’s em otional education environment isn’t rich, especially the emotional education of left-behind childr en. So, we shouldn’t ignore the problem of the left-behind children. Basic education stage is a key period of children’s psychological development. At this stage, they need parents and teache rs’ guide and love to help them hold up right value and all-round personality. This thesis did s ome research in Ningxia Zhongning about the left-behind children’s emotional status, and throu gh the observation and conversation with teachers, children and their parents, the research found that teachers don’t have a complete concept of emotional learning. Firstly, while teachers’tea ching process, they lack the consciousness and methods of emotional learning. Secondly, the lef t-behind children ignore the emotional learning and lack communication. Thirdly, the guardian c an’t give the left-behind children spiritual support and they can’t give helpful advises for childr en. The study uses the methods of literature, questionnaire, interview method, and observation method. According to the excellent experience of western countries’emotional learning, the stud y puts forward the strategies of Chinese rural primary schools’ emotional education of left-behi nd children. The strategies include the level of teacher, parents, school and community. This st udy means to do a little contribution to Chinese rural primary school’s emotional education, an d promote children’s all-round development.
