Geography is a course which connects with the real life closely. The new curriculum reform encourages teachers to organize activities indoors or outdoors. But in fact, it’s very difficult for the teachers to bring the students out of the classroom to organize outdoor activities due to the objective conditions. So indoor activities become important. Through collecting, sorting, resetting the teaching examples of activities, I hope to enrich the first-line junior middle school geography teachers’ activities material, which makes a contribution to a satisfactory effect in class teaching. This paper mainly includes six parts:Part 1:Demonstrates research background and general significance, expounds the research status at home and abroad of junior middle school geography indoor activities, introduces research methods.Part 2:Illustrates the concept of junior middle school geography indoor activities, summarizes the theoretical foundation of junior middle school geography indoor activities.Part 3:With the method of questionnaire survey, study the situation of junior middle school geography indoor activities in Chongqing, conclude problems of junior middle school geography indoor activities in Chongqing, analyzes the reason why the result of junior middle school geography indoor activities in Chongqing is bad.Part 4:Put forwards the basic principle and design strategy of junior middle school geography indoor activities, analyzes the matters needing attention of each activity type, and list the relevant small case.Part 5:Epilogue. The basic conclusions and prospects are included.
