The classroom is not only the center of students’ learning and ability development, but also the main position of the school teaching work.In order to better understand the status of the development of students’ knowledge and ability, how to effectively and objectively analysis of classroom teaching activities, to explore the feasible strategies to improve the validity of the junior high school geography classroom teaching activities, is an important measure of deepening the reform of the new curriculum.Based on the review of the relevant literature on teaching activities, with the new curriculum standard, constructivism, Babanski teaching optimization and Vygotsky "recent development zones" theory as a guide, based on lesson study, the integrated use of classroom observation,questionnaire, testing and other research methods, researches on classroom teaching activities in2014 Kunming classroom teaching competition, codes and quantitatively analyzes 16 section teaching video of teachers’ classroom teaching, and makes a survey of the status of classroom teaching and student learning efficiency. Finds the problems of junior high school geography teachers’ classroom teaching activities, and to explore the optimal strategy of geography classroom teaching activities.The results of the study shows that the implementation of the teacher in the teaching video in the classroom teaching activities exist some problems, specifically as follows: deviation of teachers leading and students subjectivity; the time of teaching activities arrangements is unreasonable; classroom teaching goals and objectives of teaching activities are not unified,ignores the starting point for teaching, and so on.According to the research findings, the author puts forward the optimization recommendations of junior high school geography classroom teaching activities: one at the design level, according to the characteristics of students, teaching objectives, teaching principles,moderate speed and rhythm, designs classroom teaching activities; two at the implementation level, creates optimal teaching situation, elaborately design, reasonably use of the guidance case,and refines language. This can provide feasible suggestions for the optimization of junior high school geography classroom teaching activities, to provide operational strategies for the majorityof workers in geography teaching, and make the effectiveness of junior high school geography classroom teaching activities to be truly implemented.
