The rise and fall of vocational education affects the development of economy. It decides whether the transition of Chinese economy is successful or not, the people living standard can improve or not, the market can lead the resource allocation or not. Since 2012, the economy of our country stepped into a new historical period. The transformation and upgrading of our economy needs the qualified vocational talents. The highly skilled double-professionally-titled teacher is a basis of guaranteeing the skilled technical personnel. But now, the vocational teachers in our country have the weak theoretical knowledge. They are short of operant skills, fall behind in the teaching method. The proportion of double-professionally-titled teachers is very low. Facing the reform of vocational education, the comprehensive abilities of vocational teachers need to be improved. The post-training of secondary vocational teacher is a very effective way of improving the teacher’s quality. Therefore, it is necessary and meaningful to do such a research about the post-training of secondary vocational teacher.This paper mainly adopts literature research method, questionnaire method and interview method. After knowing the vocational teacher training theory and training policy, the teacher situation of 10 secondary vocational schools in Qujing, Yunnan province were investigated and interviewed. From the empirical research, the writer finds the current situation of secondary vocational teacher training and some problems of training, analyzes the reasons of these problems deeply. On the basis of current situation in Qujing, the writer proposes some strategies and suggestions to improve the effectiveness about secondary vocational teacher training.This research was divided into 4 chapters. The first chapter is introduction, it mainly includes the research background, significance of this research topic and research plan. The second chapter discusses the conception of secondary vocational teacher training, theoretical research, policy of secondary vocational teacher training and domestic and international literature review. Combining the present situation, problems and requirements of secondary vocational teacher training in Qujing, the author puts forward Suggestions for secondary vocational teacher training in Qujing city:first, improve the internal mechanism of secondary vocational teacher training; Second, strengthen the external environment construction of secondary vocational teachers’ training; Third, propose some incentive measures to improve the secondary vocational teachers’ participation in training.
