As an addiction behavior without the effect of substance addiction, Internet addiction is known as the pathological condition for the public. Although the psychopathology system has not officially collected it, but it looks like the publicly accepted standards in epidemiology. The Internet timeliness and openness makes Internet users increased year by year, addiction groups are gradually expanding. So it is necessary for us to understand the dynamic factors of Internet addiction group and its psychological mechanism deeply. The growth of college students need a healthy network environment, and the research of this paper can help universities to establish such a healthy environment.Cognitive motive force, and Internet addiction. A total of 500 college students who are from three different universities,CCNU, Yangtze University, Huanggang normal college are investigated with questionnaires. Three scales are chosed "Chinese Internet Addiction Scale(CIAS)" is compiled according to the DSM-IV diagnostic criteria of various symptoms and preparation of addiction by Pro Chen Shuhui from Taiwan University in 1999, "General Self Efficacy Scale (GSES) "compiled by Schwarzer and Zhang Jianxin in 1995, Attribution Style Questionnaire (ASQ)has been complied by Petersons and his friends in 1982. According to the theoretical basis of the second chapter, the general self efficacy scale and attribution style questionnaire can be used as the power measurement tool for college students’cognition. Attributional style questionnaire contains 12 scenes, each scene of the second question are the core of the problem. When using the questionnaire, every key problem,a total of 12,should be selected. With the split half reliability measurement, the reliability coefficient is 0.72 conformed to the requirements of the reliability of questionnaire. At the same time, the factor analysis, the principal component analysis method and the maximum variance analysis have been carried on, KMO value is 0.85 and Bartlett test of sphericity of the chi square statistic significant probability p is less than 0.05. Therefore, its value is significant. In addition,12 items of the questionnaires and total table correlation are between 0.54 to 0.76. Namely the questionnaire has good validity. Then using SPSS statistical software to analyze the dynamic characteristics and Internet Addiction of cognition in the data. Through independent sample t test, correlation analysis, stepwise regression, draw the causal relationship between cognitive motivation and Internet addiction, and the specific conclusions are as follows. Conclusion 1:The motivation of college students’cognition has significant differences in the students’source and grade. Conclusion 2:College students’Internet addiction has significant differences in gender, source of students and grades. Conclusion 3:There was a significant difference between the normal group and the addictive group in cognitive motivation. Conclusion 4:Congnitive motive force (self efficacy) are negatively related to Internet addiction in the total scores of each dimension. Conclusion 5:Congnitive motive force (attributional style) are negatively related to Internet addiction in the total scores of each dimension. Conclusion 6:Congnitive motive force in the total scores of each dimension are negatively related to Internet addiction in the total scores of each dimension.
