"The high school language new curriculum standard" explicitly requires that we should cultivate the students’ Chinese accomplishment, pay attention to students’ emotional development, and lets the student shared by beauty, to gain the aesthetic consciousness and aesthetic temperament and interest as the teaching goal. And put the gaining of aesthetic consciousness and aesthetic temperament and interest as the teaching goal. Today, as the exam-oriented education is being replaced by quality education, the goal of composition teaching and emphasis are changing, too. Firstly, the purpose of the composition teaching is to stimulate students’ expression desire, on the basis of test students’ ability of accurate expression and clear explanation; Secondly, composition material which takes accounts of both the breadth and depth, examines the logical thinking and independent thinking ability of students; Finally, the aims of composition teaching is to improve the students’ humanities and competence, thus complete the basic task of morality education.Yanbian 3 middle school is an ordinary high school, students in general. For students, the high school composition teaching aims at improving the students’ writing interest and ability, cultivating students ability of the feelings of nature, society and life and cognitive ability, setting up the students’ correct judgments and values. In recent years, the school has made some achievements in the process of composition teaching, but also has more problems. Therefore, the author reviewed some theoretical knowledge about composition teaching, analyzed the current high school composition teaching situation, and on the basis of these, the writer wrote the paper.The first chapter explores the purpose and significance of the topic; The second chapter summarizes the theoretical basis of the composition teaching, mainly is "The high school new curriculum standard"; The third chapter states the present situation of composition teaching and students’writing; The fourth chapter analyzes the advantages of the teaching status and the deficiency exists in students’ writing; The fifth chapter, the author from the three perspective of schools, teachers and students puts forward some measures for improvement:First of all, The school should control in macro and build a harmonious environment of freedom for composition teaching. Secondly, teachers should change their composition teaching pattern. We can’t continue "presenting all the lesson" and the overall evaluation of composition of old routines, and choose the patterns which are suitable for students, using a variety of composition evaluation methods, put emphasis on students’timed composition and penetration traditional culture education. In addition, improve the students’ writing ability. The author puts forward her own points from three aspects, the writing teaching objectives, the students’ writing habit, writing training of students. Finally, from the perspective of students, the author proposed requirements from the aspects of correct attitude, attention to the face, true feelings, material accumulation and attention to hot events, etc.
