The Research On The Career Planning Of College Students Based On SWOT Analysis

Under the social background of highly competitiveness on talents, career planning plays an important role in the construction of college students’abilities and employment for the job-searching process, and career planning becomes a core part of Students competitiveness. Currently, Career Planning Theory has a relative shortage in reference of employment guidance in this applied study among colleges and universities in our country, In this study, we refer to SWOT analysis in Strategy Management as the main analysis techniques, consider career planning theories as the theoretical basis and regard college students as subjects to investigate and analyze the current status of college students’ career planning, the problems and the reasons, in the perspective of management, psychology, sociology and human resource management, built career planning program based on SWOT analysis, which is aiming at a series of problems for career planning.This study describes the causes and the relevant literature review topics of career planning, explains the career planning and development elaborated theory, SWOT analysis tools and career planning of college students at home and abroad.This study will do a research and have a survey on College Students’ career planning primarily through the SWOT analysis as college students’ career planning guidance tools. Do a status quo analysis according to the data obtained from real information and real resources obtained from interview questionnaires, including unreasonable career planning process; unclear career choices; courses for career guidance by career guidance department for students’ employment is singly targeted and actually poor practical effect; awareness on career planning is so fuzzy and the satisfaction is not high; lack of career guidance teachers construction, the overall low quality. According to the findings of the specific reasons come to career planning exists in the development of college students including career planning, a lack of subjective aspects include students’ self-planning ideas,not enough emphasis; cognitive approach a single,self-positioning is not clear enough; the majority of college students in the professional choice just blindly choose the so-called popular and highly paid professional, rather than from a practical point of view to choose their favorite professional real; college students for careers and employment value orientation View biased; The main objective level, including career guidance teachers is weak, many career guidance courses are replaced by a school counselor lack of professional teachers, low career education teachers as a whole, almost all bachelor degree;career guidance for course set a single, for a variety of professional categories and did not offer appropriate guidance course; career planning curriculum differs from professional courses, much commencement times, does not involve credit, so a lot of ability to execute vocational guidance course in universities lack the corresponding employment lack of diversity in guiding practice, these are caused by ineffective career planning, career planning leads to poor efficiency.Career Planning for College Students, problems, and cause analysis, this study combined with the theoretical studies and proposals predecessors, drawing SWOT analysis techniques and introduced into the College. Students’Career Planning among the new proposals for the career planning and new strategies have different research methods and research perspective, and based on career planning SWOT analysis is based on previous research on each other, put forward countermeasures and suggestions for long-term development of the students themselves. Including re-establish the concept of career planning, to strengthen the different professions different career guidance;strengthen lifelong career building, improve career education system; consolidation of vocational guidance of professional development of teachers, improve the overall quality and relevance of vocational guidance; perfect student career guidance system, improve service quality and level of service sector employment guidance. From the students themselves, the need to make the following improvements:Combine SWOT matrix effectively improve the level of self-awareness, and enhance the ability of the external environment analysis; constantly improve their overall quality, so as to enhance the competitiveness of occupation; consciously strengthen career awareness, improve self-professional and vocational skills; believes vocational ideals and beliefs, and continuously adapted to the development of self lifelong career. We hope that we can bring new recommendations for guidance and practically referred value for career planning of college students based on SWOT analysis and win new opportunities in a changing modern society and intense employment environment.
