Guiding case is based on the systematic analysis of materials characteristics and the characteristics of students, according to subject teaching objectives, prepared by the teachers, teachers and students jointly completed and continuous optimization fused teaching ideas in it and guided learning ideas formation of guidance material and design. It is designed to help students clear learning objectives, construction of the overall framework of knowledge, systematically master the knowledge content, and thus enhance the learning efficiency and all-round ability of students. On the basis of systematic analysis of the domestic literature, in this paper, we comb the lack of related researches, as well as the guiding case in the application of the practical teaching. Try to base on the previous researches, from the perspective of curriculum and teaching theory, to enhance the depth of the guiding case and its position and function in practical teaching.This study is a theoretical supplement to the teaching reform in the context of the new curriculum, and is also the improvement and enriches of guiding case itself, has an important theoretical significance. At the same time, to induce more scientized and standardized of the guiding case, enhanced junior high school classroom teaching the timeliness and effectiveness, solved the problem of students’ self exploring time is too long, as well as fully affirmed the dominant position of students has important practical significance.Through the investigation from a middle school in Xiqing District, in this paper, we found that both teachers and students had more or less problems about the guiding case, either from the cognition and attitude to the implementation or the effect and satisfaction of that. The main problem of the guiding case focus on the deviation understanding of its essence, ambiguity attitude, disaffinity between the anticipated effect and the actual effect, satisfaction still needs to improve, schools and other external support is not enough and so on. In this paper, we put forward reasonable suggestion about the effective implementation of the guiding case in the teaching of junior middle school from the six aspects:renewing idea to promote the value identity of the guiding case; respect the differences, coordinating the presupposition and generation of the teaching with guiding case; ease the burden, increase the efficiency to achieve a virtuous cycle of the teaching with guiding case; clarify the relationship to promote the effective implementation of the teaching with guiding case; more supporting to ensure the prerequisite support of the teaching with guiding case; multivariate evaluation, combine the process and the result of the teaching with guiding case.
