Study On The Cultivation Of Contemporary University Students’ Legal Thinking

Legal Thinking refers to a thought pattern of taking legal value and law spirit as the guide and using of legal principles, the rule of law, the legal way to think and solve the problems. Legal education is an important part of the ideological and political education, it play an important role in the process of promoting the improvement in the overall quality of college students. It’s emphasized that promote to establish legal consciousness in the whole society, carry out the work of legal publicity and education, take the law education into the national education system and content creation of spiritual civilization in the Fourth Plenary Session of the 18th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. Therefore, the university students who will come to community need to have the Legal Consciousness and Legal Thinking, so we must take the cultivation of Contemporary University Students’ Legal Thinking as an important part of ideological and political work.In view of the most existing research are about the theoretical analysis and the summary of experience on cultivation of Contemporary University Students’ Legal Thinking, lack of empirical study, the paper will seek a breakthrough in that part, make an empirical study on cultivation of Contemporary University Students’ Legal Thinking to have a better understanding and practice of it.The first part summarize the theoretical basis of cultivation the Contemporary University Students’ Legal Thinking from the aspects of the principle of the Materialism on dialectical relationship between social being and social consciousness and the thought of Marxism on emphasizing cultivation of Legal Thinking, by sorting out the existing concepts of Legal Thinking and defining the meaning of Legal Thinking, demonstrating the importance of cultivation the Contemporary University Students’ Legal Thinking from the aspect of country,society and the individual, summarizing four characteristics of cultivation Contemporary University Students’ Legal Thinking. The second part describes the status of cultivation the Contemporary University Students’ Legal Thinking and the cause of the problem. Analysing the status of cultivation the Contemporary University Students’ Legal Thinking from the positive and negative sides, analyzing the reason of the problem from the school, social, family and students themselves. The third part presents an effective way to cultivation the Contemporary University Students’ Legal Thinking from the school, social, family and students themselves, enhance the effect of cultivation the Contemporary University Students’ Legal Thinking.
