With the advent of the Internet+ era, how to combine the Internet with education has become a hot topic in education. Micro-lesson is the product of the combination of the Internet and education. The emergence of micro-lesson has the great significance on the innovation of teachers’ teaching methods and the change of student’s learning ways. "Ordinary High School Ideological and Political Course Standards" (Experimental) noted in the course concept:Promoting open and interactive approach to teaching and cooperative inquiry approach to learning makes the students improve the ability of active learning and development in the process of full of teaching democracy. Students can improve the ability of active learning and development in full teaching democratic process. Application of micro-lesson in the senior high school ideological and political course teaching not only conforms to the concept of the course, but also has injected new vitality for the course.This paper basing on the Required Course Ⅲ "Cultural Life" describes the application of micro-lesson in the high school ideological and political course teaching from four parts. Firstly, it summarizes the micro-lesson’ s concept, traits, types and the necessity of the application in the high school ideological and political course teaching. Secondly, it describes the design concepts, design principles and design preconception of micro-lesson in the high school ideological and political course teaching. Thirdly, it explains the application process and application strategies of the micro-lesson in the high school ideological and political course teaching. And it analyses the application of the results. Fourthly, it is a reflection of micro-lesson in the high school ideological and political course teaching on teaching effectiveness.
