The traditional transmission--reception teaching pays too much attention to the inheritance of theoretical knowledge system, and the cultivation of logical thinking ability. In contrast, it is difficult to fully implement the fundamental task of Physics Teaching in Senior High School under the new curriculum concept. Besides, this traditional teaching is limited in improving students’ practical ability and cultivating students’ creativity. However, the activity teaching of physics in senior high school is an effective way that can improve the students’ practical ability and cultivate the students’ creativity.“The ultimate goal of activity teaching is to reform the existing teaching mode where knowledge is first, the teacher is centered and cramming education is mostly used; to attain the teaching process the one that is based on the students’ independent activities and active exploration. Meanwhile, through students’ comprehensive and diverse practical activities to promote their subjective spirit, innovative consciousness, practical ability and the overall development.”[1]Activity physics in high schools takes activities-based development as its concept and infiltrates activities into the teaching of physics. By this way, it has significance for changing the traditional teaching mode and learning mode, enriching the new curriculum education system, and cultivating students’ scientific literacy and other aspects.As far as Guizhou, a remote mountainous province, is concerned a short history of taking part in Senior High School new curriculum reform, coupled with the lacking of both teaching resources and practical experience in activity physics. Bijie, as a typical city, is one of the nine administrative areas in Guizhou Province, and the level of its education and teaching is placed in the middle. Therefore, it provides reference for the development and implementation of Physics Teaching in senior high school and it is of great significance to solve problems in learning and teaching physics.This article through analysis of domestic and foreign physical activity teaching theory and the practical achievement discusses the connotation of activity physics teaching; Under the guidance of the new curriculum standard of physics in the high school, combined with my own teaching experience and the construction teaching theory and other related theories, this article puts forward design mode, principles and evaluation system on the implementation of the activity teaching of physics; According to the investigation and study on the present situation of the teaching of physical activities in several key senior high schools in Bijie City, this article has a understanding of teachers and students on physical activity class and how development of physical activity teaching is conducted; Combined with the actual situation, further practical research draws a conclusion: high school physics activity course helps to improve students’ learning interest in physics, helps to improve students’ physical performance, helps to improve students’ practical ability to work and solve problems, helps to improve students’ sense of cooperation and innovation ability.
