The present study mainly focuses on the enlightenment and exploration of traditional soaking reading method to language sense of the current Chinese classroom in middle school. According to the characteristics of traditional soaking reading method and the formation of language sense, the thesis supposes that soaking reading method conforms to the law of the formation of language sense. As for the present problems of language sense teaching, the author proposes that soaking reading method is the effective way of cultivating middle school students’ language sense.The thesis is divided into four parts. The introduction part combs the current situation of research on soaking reading method, language sense and the application of soaking in middle school Chinese teaching and offers an effective reference and lessons for the discussion of the thesis. The first chapter is about the importance of developing middle school students’ Chinese language sense and analyzes the existing problems of language sense teaching based on the current situation of middle school Chinese teaching, which is the realistic condition of the present study. The second chapter mainly clarifies the connotation of soaking reading method and interprets its modern value. It also figures out that the soaking reading method is in harmony with the modern education idea, and then further explores the effective ways of developing middle school students’ language sense. The third chapter is concerned with the practical exploration of soaking teaching method for developing middle school students ’ language sense. As a teaching method of language sense in text, soaking reading method should have a focused teaching method for different texts. Therefore, this chapter chooses three texts which are poetry, drama and classical Chinese and conducts teaching design in order to analyze its application strategies. It expects to provide some useful value for the current language teaching.
