With the rapid developmentof today’s society, more studentsget the opportunityto go to college. With the increasingnumber ofcollege students, the problem ofstudy weariness inuniversities is obvious.Study weariness problem is the issue that always happens inschool. It likes a kind of ill that can’t cure completely.From psychological point of view,study wearinessisa kind of response model that students treat learning activities negatively. Study wearinessis not a problem of an individualstudent. It’s a common problemofmost students.College studentswho haveseverestudy wearinesswilldislike learning and school performance is poor. They can’t master professional knowledge. They can’t find a job after graduation and thishas an impact on careerandfuturedevelopment. The society willalsoface seriousemployment problem of graduates.Therefore, concernstudy wearinessproblem, exploreitscauses andcorrective actionswill have importantsignificance. It not only can help college studentsto grow up healthilyand smoothlyinto the society, but alsohelp to alleviateemployment problemof collegestudents. As a work method that help others to be self-reliant solve social problem, social workcan play an importantrole insolving college students’ studywearinessproblem.This study will conduct group social work intervention in the problem of college students’ study weariness in Changchun University of Technology. By establishingasuppor tivegroup, providing guidance and organization by social workers, providing information, advice, encouragement andemotional supportby group members, usingthe power andpos itive impact of members,to helpgroup membersto establish a correctlearni ngattitude, corre ctthe deviationofunderstanding of learning, master methods of relieving study weariness, reduceadverse effects of study weariness, promotecoordinated developmentof students’ study and life,so as to achievethe purposeofimproving studywearinessof college students. By group workinterventionincollege students’ study wearinessissue, to explore feasibility, significance and methods of group work as a kind of social work in improving college students’ study weariness. The procedure includes definition of group name, type and targets, recruitment of group members, 5 times group activities according to plan and schedule. These group activities include discussion, sharing, watching videos and games. There will be effectiveness evaluation, conclusions and reflections of this group work intervention.
