With the development of the economy and social development, vocational education should be adapted to the requirements of modernization, and strive for developing skilled personnel for the enterprise. Therefore, the professional practice teaching in vocational schools should keep pace with the times, adapt to the job requirements of the company,update education concept, improve the practical teaching method and improve students’ practical operative ability. So that, the graduate can get ready for the employment in the future.Accounting practice teaching is a teaching method which combines the theoretical knowledge of accounting work and accounting practices. In classroom instruction, we should take the emphasis on improving students’ practical ability, optimizing accounting practice teaching methods, giving full play to the role of the school training base of accounting and directing the students to solve the practical problems of a teaching method.In the competency-based society, we should put emphasis on linking theory with practice in accounting teaching, take advantage of action-oriented teaching methods, be fully aware of the importance of the accounting practice teaching in the accounting profession in secondary vocational school teaching.Currently, there are some imperfections in accounting practice teaching. Firstly,mostly accounting teachers who have rich theoretical knowledge and lack work experience,go to work when they are just out of the college. Secondly, the practice basis inside is difficult to play a key role of enhancing on improving students’ practical ability because of the lack of real business accounting data. Thirdly, as the privacy of business accounting information is required, the real information is not available to the students. So it is hard to reach the aims of practice. Influenced by these factors, many inadequacies exist in accounting practicing teaching. It is extremely urgent to improve the teaching of accounting practice.Accountant specialty in “A” vocational school as backbone specialty undertakes the task of directing the development of the accountant specialty and improving the whole level of accounting practice teaching in vocational school in Beijing At the same time, it is responsible for training qualified students to meet the needs of the enterprise.This article aims to analyze the current situation and problems of vocational accounting practice teaching through questionnaire, interview and literature. Combiningactual job requirements and my teaching experience for years, this study attempts to find the ways and methods of accounting practice teaching in A vocational school and put forward the improvements in reforms on accounting practicing teaching.
