New urbanization is China’s strategic choice of balancing urban and rural development, is different from the past embodied in "urbanization" put forward, is one of the emerging urbanization. It help to address urban-rural income gap in China is increasing, for the realization of common prosperity of socialism. The development of new towns must have adequate human and technical support, and only when agricultural laborers’ to raise the cultural level and professional skills, will it be possible to promote the further development of the new towns. Strengthening the construction of farmers ’ vocational education and improve the overall quality of farmers.From the study of farmers ’ vocational education from the perspective of new towns development, combining the development of urbanization, social stratification for farmers, the peasants into farmers, new farmers, three groups of migrant workers. The case of Xiangyang city, Xiangyang city, analysis of development situation of farmer vocational education. Combined with the analysis of data and the issue of peasants ’ vocational education development in China, from the farmer’s vocational education of participant States, local governments, professional colleges, farmers, and its impact on peasant vocational education, difficulties arising in the study of peasants ’ vocational education, on the basis of this proposed development thought and countermeasure of farmer vocational education in the new era. On countermeasure of farmers ’ vocational education thinking from the four main, highlighted in the context of urbanization, farmers groups hierarchy, to the different needs of vocational education, and puts forward corresponding countermeasures. The text is divided into five chapters:The first chapter, introduction a total of seven sections, respectively, of the research background, research value, concept definition, research status, research content, research methods and innovations in this paper an overview;The second chapter discusses the background according to the following new urbanization development of vocational education of farmers. Including new content and features of urbanization, the theoretical basis Farmer Education Development under the new urbanization background;The third chapter, by Xiangyang City as an example to conduct field research and survey data processing, as a basis to analyze the current situation of Farmer Vocational Education and demand analysis;by Xiangyang Farmers Vocational Education, combing the plight of farmers at the present stage of development of vocational education;The fourth chapter, by this stage I had plight of peasants professional education, proposed countermeasures dependent, in our further development of vocational education of farmers.
